There’s a reason the Fediverse runs on Hetzner - it is difficult to find a solid service at a lower price.

That’s the EU not Europe.
Luckily, I am perfectly aware I’m old, so this hasn’t come as a shock.
great shout actually as I feel reassured that I’m mostly spending in the EU by shopping own brands in Lidl.
Ah, I specifically mentioned Aldi for a reason. Another poster gave a breakdown of Lidl’s other activity and they are best avoided.

Aldi have what I presume is their own Vitacat range. They’re likely a pretty good copy of other more expensive cat food brands at a lower price and Aldi is a German company. I don’t know the specific country of origin but for standard things like that it is usually made in the UK or EU (a quick check shows they don’t list it these days, but used to - dairy products used to come from Ireland, for example).

I don’t do Facebook, just lurk under a pseudonym so I can follow some groups that only post there.
What numbers would cause them to go bankrupt?
They’ll shrink in size but will always be a big player in the EV market.
The main question is: how big a decline will be required for the board to boot Musk out?
I think a change of government would be required as Erdogan is only getting more authoritarian. I suspect this is partly because he knows the backlash is coming, but that may lead to even harsher crack downs on decent and he could go full Putin. The EU wouldn’t want that hot mess inside their borders.
ᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴏʀ 帝@feddit.ukto Fediverse@lemmy.world•The best thing you can do for the fediverse is just be kindEnglish1·23 days ago@Cris_Color@lemmy.world being nice helps establish the “tone”, but I’m not sure that wouldn’t change with another “API event” on Reddit that results in another, larger mass migration.
The way I see it - the early adopters set the tone of a place and new arrivals are more likely to adopt that approach. So it is important to be kind now, so people will be kind later.
Turkey is also in Europe. Partly.
