on a side note, many viruses and malware detect programming tools and delete themselves if they’re there…

well that would be cool….
people keep calling him a pedo enabler but was he really? he wasn’t pope for very long…
i admit i know very little about the inner workings of it all… but they’re not all pedos, and i think when one was caught and relocated they didn’t send out a newsletter to everyone in the church…
you only need to take one look at the Pope’s evil gold throne to know the entire institution of Catholicism is bullshit….
i mean, there’s a lot of other ways to figure that out, but the throne is glaringly obvious

xor@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Technology@lemmy.world•China has world’s first operational thorium nuclear reactor thanks to ‘strategic stamina’English11·10 days agoi did see that TED talk… i saw someone say that’s just the reactor design that’s safe, and uranium couldn’t melt down in that type of reactor either….
but that was just some comment and i’m not qualified to speculate on it… but meltdowns are the biggest problem with nuclear, imo….i think we should just dump all of our nuclear waste off the coast of japan… and hopefully generate some kaijū

xor@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Technology@lemmy.world•China has world’s first operational thorium nuclear reactor thanks to ‘strategic stamina’English92·10 days agogreen peace is cool and all, but nuclear the only way forward, other than asking everyone nicely to use much less energy…
and supposedly the new molten salt thorium reactor design automatically shuts itself off and basically can’t have a meltdown… if that’s real it’s a great way forward….
well, except for all the nuclear waste, but i’m sure they’ll figure that out too….

they’re not bots, everyone is sick of AI slop everywhere, and it’s especially distasteful to use it for activism messaging, an extremely human endeavor.
if there’s any shill-bots involved, they’re creating and promoting these while downvoting human made art because the ai argument is inevitable.
in fact, the amount and ratio of upvotes compared to people actually writing out complaints proves that i’m right.
appropriate username, btw…
