I didn’t say not to draw a line. I just said I was opposed to sabbatoge for the time being. There are lots of other things you can do right now to work towards restoring diplomacy.

I tend to agree, but not entirely.
The point I was making here is you start sabotaging & can end up harming people that may have been allies. As they say, the road to hell is often paved with good intentions.
Second, the more you start demanding people do what you want else you’ll sabotage, attack them, etc… Your ideas really aren’t that much different than those of fascists either.
I’ve been saying this for such a long time, the tech industry needs unions. It also needs crowd sourced legal assistance as well because it isn’t going to be easy. They’ll fire of course at first despite being illegal, then they’ll want migrants that they can threaten with deportation if they don’t comply. Even if Trump goes away, unions will be necessary to keep corporations accountable.
Although I don’t support sabotage for the time being & strongly oppose it in almost every way. It isn’t just risky, but I feel many times it ends up legitimizing the groups you’re trying to protect others from. I feel it would make matters substantially worse before the potential of making things better, but at that point you may have just invited the next generation of fascism to use your actions to justify theirs.
Yes & no. Sadly case precedent in matters like this typically favor law enforcement & prosecutors for multiple reasons. One of them being where they argue if they make the ruling retroactive, then thousands of convicts where they used similar evidence would also be eligible for appeals or dismissal. Another more messed up reason is that if evidence is obtained illegally, if it still “proves” a defendant is guilty, the courts have came up with certain exceptions where it can still be used.
It’s always “think of the children” to these miserable control freaks. They’d force kids into a dungeon if they had their say in it.
I see you complaining about this being Kremlin propaganda… how’d you feel if Meta had hundreds of Russian Armed Forces employees?
Suckerberg is a robot but he is way better at selling things than Musk.
Just like people never really sell drugs. Instead the person donates money to someone & they donate something back. Do you expect the court to accept that argument? If not then don’t let them get away with similar arguments.
It isn’t perfect by any means, but compared to Nautilus & many others, it still has a lot of benefits that make things quicker overall.
Unions, unions, unions… In Steve Ballmer’s voice.
Depends on the game really but sometimes you have to spend a lot of time & research on things to figure it out. Great that it is open source but companies like Microsoft also work to sabotage efforts at times. If it has multiplayer with anticheat, you’ll prob find a lot more instances where things don’t work or require more effort.
For sure. Linux has a lot of great apps but there are times where it’ll become incredibly frustrating. For example, file explorers can be basic & frustrating… The best you’ll prob get is Dolphin.

Finally, Mozilla is finally doing something innovative for once. Stalwart is freaking awesome.
Maybe go actually read the blog post before you make it so obvious that you didn’t.
