Honestly, a spreadsheet would be fine for this? I’m not super familiar with what an inventory management system does tho, so maybe it does things beyond what a spreadsheet can do.

China is already making better cars for way less, but I guess the good thing for them is that they won’t sell to the US.
The Citroen AMI doesn’t have speakers either, it comes with a Bluetooth speaker instead, which you can use outside the car. It makes sense if you just think of the entertainment stuff as something that shouldn’t be part of the car and can easily be upgraded/replaced down the line.
BYDs are everywhere now in Australia. Not sure what alternative brands are available in the US, is it just Rivian?
They took over existing publications as well. Still, I’m all for reigning in the social media networks, because they’re basically editorialising through their moderation (like that time Musk decided to boost his own posts so much he ended up on everyone’s ‘for you’ page).
If your moderation is basically taking on the role of an editor, you should be held responsible for any libellous content/ hate speech you boost in this fashion.
All UBI proposals I’ve seen don’t get anywhere near what you’d need to live off, and even worse, it’s sometimes sold as a way to gut other social programs. We definitely need to do something if we really are going into a world where AI is taking jobs, but it needs to be something better (maybe just provide free housing, and other basic necessities if AI can provide us with unlimited stuff anyway?).
But the way things are going, the billionaires just want to make their own personal wealth grow and don’t think what would happen to the rest of us in the future they’re imagining.
To be fair, it didn’t happen under his watch. He’s basically taking the opportunity to put the blame on the Tories for allowing it.
You could just swap them on day 364 and claim they’re a new installation. Or just say you swapped them.
It’s the only sauce you can use with their printers.
Yeah, but instead of by mining (BTC, ETH, etc) or breng issued by a private company (USDC, USDT, every scam coin), it would be the ECB issuing the tokens. Not too different as to how they’re currently ‘printing’ money by digitally conjuring it up on a computer. Challenging the transaction fees by Visa / MasterCard is big tho.
I had no idea f-droid and let’s encrypt used US government funding. Hope somebody steps in to plug that hole.
They could start selling their inventory to countries they don’t sell to yet. Although I’m assuming they’re just pausing under the assumption that the tariffs are temporary.
I mean, it’s patching a security issue caused by trusting headers it shouldn’t, so I don’t think they should wait for a big number release.
Yep, they were fine with ‘footing the bill for European defense’ as long as enough members bought F35s and whatever other pointless toys the US produced. Only France basically stuck with producing everything domestically.
Trump never really understood what that unspoken part of the bargain really was about. If Europe is going to actually spend 2% of GDP, they’re going to keep that money domestically as much as possible instead of sending all that spending overseas in dollars.
Where did you get the idea Tesla pays above market rates for any role? They’re notorious for hiring fresh college grads and just burning them out. And that’s on the software side, the people building the actual cars have it even worse.
Which is why they’re trying so hard to kill it. If Manhattan actually becomes a pleasant place to be in instead of the traffic hell it’s been traditionally, people in other cities might ask questions. And that’s the stuff that scares car companies, as they’ve been charging a fortune for what is unfortunately a necessity in many places Americans live.
