IIRC cycling is the lowest joule/km form of transport available.
I’m just here looking for brief connections with people over common interests.
My username would suggest I’m a bigger Harry Potter fan than I actually am. I saw a dumbledore meme with outwards-crossed-eyes that I think may have even said dumblederp.

I did a course with a chicken feed manufacturing guy the other day. It’s six weeks from chick to slaughter for meat chooks. He said he knew a farm that did six million chicks, six times a year. It just made me sad.
It all sounds like an American problem because they don’t have public healthcare.
Mate they’ve got too much freedom over in yankee land, you’d probably get sued for chopping up someone’s wood. Or if you hurt yourself chopping the wood up you might try and sue the wood owner because you have to pay for the doctor to fix you up.
I don’t want a folding e-reader, I was a dual eReader with a hinge in the middle that acts like a book.
Using Calibre, they’re much of a muchness. I’ve got a kobo, I mostly eRead on my phone.
I got stuck with COD6 because of that shit. It’s a boring game and it wasn’t cheap.
It was re-released on Steam as “Overload”.
I liked 6v6, they should’ve made more tanks and healers.
I didn’t like role queue, sure it’s a strong team buildup but I don’t think it should’ve been forced. I really liked being able to flex between classes depending on what was needed. Sometimes five DPS and a healer will break through a point. Being a tank or healer with bad DPS makes an already limited role even worse.
Ow2 seems like they just trashed my game ($60aud) and added MTX.
I can’t get into marvel rivals, the time to kill seems too low, Overwatch was a bit more lethal.
Wasn’t it from 4chan trolling? Is it the three fingers and a circle from the index and thumb? https://www.adl.org/resources/article/how-ok-symbol-became-popular-trolling-gesture
Turns out ethical wages and materials cost money. I agree that older tech being more ethical as whatever ‘cost’ is may have was paid by the first owner.
There’s other phones with user replaceable batteries. I looked it up a month or so ago. They’re not as ethical as fairphone, but still better than my drawer of working phones with dead batteries.
Australia is a big country with trucks delivering stuff everywhere which makes for a huge part of out climate contribution. Per capita we’re in the doghouse for emissions standards, fortunately there’s not a lot of us.
G’day mate, yeah us hot regions are getting screwed faster and harder by climate change. One saving grace is we’ve been building places to handle the heat for longer.
It’s not enshittification, but there’s a bunch of crappy rss bots on lemmy reposting low quality content pulled from various feeds. I feel like they’ve been abandoned and left to run creating internet litter around this site. I’ve started blocking them because I’m not against bots as a concept, but poorly written or with bad sources they can get pretty tiring. One of the things I appreciate about diggs $5 account fee is that it’d hopefully limit the amount of trolls/spam on the site.
Tibetans too.
I pronounce it like an Aussie, been enjoying the site and it’s results. These quants are allright.
The instructions are written on the packet and phones have a timer. This is marketing for Barilla and Spotify.
G’day from landlordstralia.
It’s certainly a repost.
