Under any system where people have power over others, power will begin to concentrate into fewer and fewer hands, until it becomes a problem. The only solution is anarchism.


GrapheneOS has a feature which automatically restarts the phone if it hasn’t been interacted with after some user-configurable delay. For example, you could configure the phone to automatically reboot if it hasn’t been used for an hour. This way, even if the phone is seized, that reboot timer is ticking. Once it reboots, the encryption on the phone is basically unbreakable.

Allowing a certificate without proper validation for local only networks is a terrible, terrible idea. I could super easily use this as a loophole to set up a honeypot public free wi-fi, redirect all traffic through a reverse proxy and man-in-the-middle every single HTTPS connection, effectively allowing me to harvest everyone’s passwords in a really quick and easy way.
Just use DNS verification. It’s not that hard.
I consider cheat codes to be an accessibility tool for disabled gamers, and I think it is really sad that they are far less common than they once were, and it’s even sadder to see some devs/publishers (Ubisoft comes to mind) try to monetize cheat codes.
that assumes every business which invests in AI would be bailed out, which is a huge assumption. I would guess the only businesses that would receive bailouts would be those with personal ties to the government
