I think the joke
I think the joke is to make light of the USA situation in April 2025 and how X media platform messages and Elon Musk electric media communications is used to create “mind virus” changes in the population, to use absurd comedy and surreal humor, to cause dissociation of reality among the electric media consumers, as this Lemmy user has been doing against pro-NATO and pro-USA defense efforts to educate the population about Russian Hybrid Warfare on the World Wide Web / social media systems, trivializing topics with low-effort dismissive reaction-comments.

The brilliance of this new type of authoritarianism is that instead of simply oppressing opposition, as had been the case with twentieth-century strains, it climbs inside all ideologies and movements, exploiting and rendering them absurd.” ― Peter Pomerantsev, Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible: The Surreal Heart of the New Russia, 2014

“The nature of psychological compulsion is such that those who act under constraint remain under the impression that they are acting on their own initiative. The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim. To him the walls of his prison are invisible, and he believes himself to be free. That he is not free is apparent only to other people. His servitude is strictly objective.” ― Aldous Huxley, Brave New World and Brave New World Revisited
