I had 160+ at one point and it didn’t smell even if you were standing in the middle of the yard. They need space, that’s all.

If you can smell a few backyard chickens the owners are doing something horribly wrong.

Europe@feddit.org•EU weighs ban on veggie 'burger' and 'sausage' labelsEnglish
11·9 days agoSo, Stouffer’s, my personal favorite awful store bought lasagna comes in two different meat and a cheese only variety. They are labeled as such. You sound lazy, and not super bright. Try actually reading labels further than the biggest word on the box and you will almost certainly see that all of the pertinent information has been provided by the producer. Every brand on at very least American shelves will definitely give you that information. If you aren’t stateside I can’t help you, but one last time I will suggest that you put just a little bit of effort into understanding your purchases before you make them. You are what you should be disappointed in here. I’m done with this conversation. Have the last word if you feel you must. You certainly seem the type. Have the life you deserve. Bye now.

21·9 days agoYes, if you only eat in restaurants your choices will be limited. I have, on the other hand, been allowed to look through cookbooks older than you and I put together, which contained multiple different recipes for lasagna and only 2 of those recipes contain meat. Why do you choose to die on such a wrong and useless hill?

Fella, go back and look at the thread in context, replied to me or I would not have received a notification and replied to you.

I cook better than you, and I’d wager that my vocabulary is as superior to yours as my cooking.

31·9 days agoWell, as not at all a vegetarian, I’m alright with that, but damn if you don’t sound like you have all the palate of a 10 year old.
Edit: and you can’t fucking read.

73·9 days agoCheese lasagna is totally a thing though. In fact, it’s a damn tasty thing. Hell, I eat probably more meat than I should, and I will absolutely choose cheese lasagna over meat lasagna at least half of the time. You just failed to read the packaging.
Veggie burgers and sausages are plainly labeled. If you can read, and you bother to do so, you really can’t accidentally end up with them. Though, some of them are mighty tasty. Maybe you should broaden your culinary experience a little. It’s easier if you take the stick out of your ass.
Even if he was executed next to every other human cosplaying as a gold hoarding dragon, that man would be alone. He is incapable of connecting with anyone else.
You and I could never have his kind of money. Our only interest in the stuff is to spend it. You, like me probably have some hobbies you would dump a ton of dollars/euros into. I would have one of damn near every kind of musical instrument. My money would flow like water through the economies of several countries to make that happen.
People who amass wealth like his don’t have the capacity to enjoy things. They have only the compulsive desire to own. There is no enough. He cannot love, but he deludes himself into believing that he should be worshiped. He will die alone and unsatisfied, he’s just going to take entirely too long to do it.

4·13 days agoI tried Ubuntu first, because I had heard of it, and too many things didn’t work. At the time I was still on that other link aggregator platform and the Linux nerds there told me to try Mint and they were right. It just worked and I have happily run that ever since. It does what I do and isn’t Microsoft or the overpriced fruit company. I have no urge to distro hop at all. Fussing with my computer isn’t fun for me, I just want to use it sometimes. I agree, though, Linux is good and there’s something for everyone.

I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted, your experience is valid.
50 on 1/2 acre is a lot, but shouldn’t be stomach wrenchingly stinky. Grass certainly helps. Bare dirt would require more upkeep. My 160 were on like 2, and having that many was unintentional but like I said wasn’t particularly smelly at all.
Sounds like chickens aren’t for you, though. There’s a nearby dairy I pass from time to time that smells really bad some days.
