If you think that is a terrible position, just think about what happens when electricity is lost for 7 days in a wide area. We are extremely dependant on technology. And that does not need to be a bad thing. Look at Ukraine, despite all of the attacks, they are still there, things still work.

So how is that supposed to work? It depends on many factors, mostly elevation and pasta thickness, which have to be taken into account. You can cook thin pasta in a few minutes, but thicker ones easily need more than 10.
