    This juxtaposition of possible death v/ certain death but not mentioned is rather cynical:

    Tunisian security forces have ramped up efforts to prevent migrants from crossing the sea, a journey that can be deadly.

    Fears of forced expulsions and being bussed to Tunisia’s desert borderlands again re-emerged as authorities prepared to dismantle the camps.

    I have questions regarding Tunisian government’s definition of “voluntary” too.

    facilitate voluntary repatriation for those who wish to return to their home countries.

    (There’s also the question whether this submission actually fits the theme of the community.)

      Regarding the last point, I thought it was relevant since migration is an issue that defines a lot of what’s going in in the EU/Europe as of late, but feel free to remove it if you think it’s appropriate. I don’t think you’re very heavy handed in your moderation, and I’ll still keep posting things that I believe are relevant and interesting to share.
