    I am pretty convinced this will not matter. The bubble will collapse soon enough and most data centers will be stranded assets and therefore be repurposed (or die).

    Propaganda only goes so far. Most humans can see through the bullshit but they’re plugged into the game and walk the path, averting their eyes.

      PC gamers among the first to see the direct effects with hardware costs skyrocketing. And hard to ignore with it affecting the pricing of things like the Steam Machine leading to uncertainty around it.

      So that group is starting to get pissed off.

        That’s a small group and composed mainly of younger people who don’t vote. I built my own PCs from 1994 to around 2019. Now few people even own PCs, let alone build and upgrade.

          Whatever is assumed of them it’s been interesting seeing the anti AI sentiments growing on reddit subs like pcgaming, pcmasterrace, buildapc, and buildapcsales. And these enthusiasts already hated Windows 11 before but the push of copilot was leading the negativity before the prices got out of hand.
