If it was up to me I would Abolish both days, replacing them with “Parents’ day” and I would also put the “Single Parent’s day” right tomorrow after that day.
That way single parents would get 2 days of celebration with no interruption.

Fully disagree with parents day because each parents deserves a day that’s singularly theirs.
