tosdr.org says MEGA tracks you and stuff. I use the DuckDuckGo tracker blocker things, but my space is getting smaller and I’ll soon need to pay for a bigger plan. But I’m really wondering if they won’t steal my bank data if I pay for the bigger plan.
(Using MEGA snce it had the free plan with the biggest space I could find)

Mega gives the same vibe as folks who sell my real name and a detailed record of my activities. So I’m inclined to believe any accusations of tracking.
I wouldn’t both use Mega for piracy and piss off anyone powerful enough to want me arrested, or I would worry they would buy my Mega user records - for example.
As for paying Mega, they don’t strike me as “run off with your money”, to me.
But I always like to use a dedicated account with minimal money in it, for new online transactions. Also, I turn off “overdraft protection” on that acount, so it cannot drain my other accounts.
Seems like we are in diferent countries, I can’t find the Overdraft Protection on my bank app.
Could be. Although mine buries it pretty deep and defaults it to on. They like to charge me $25 each time I would have overdraft, and they can’t do that if I turn off the “feature”.
Edit: If your country has stronger consumer protection laws, the “feature” might just be illegal there.
Brazil.
It’s probably less of a country thing and just not something all banks offer
